Innovation in Healthcare for Humanity
The Community Health Promotion Project (CHPP) was created in 2003 as a vehicle for sparking innovation among healthcare providers. CHPP is recognized by the IRS as a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, and serves as fiscal sponsor for PRIVATE Medical Records.
MYA Network is a group of clinicians, patients and activists working to normalize abortion care — medically, by expanding early abortion and miscarriage management into primary care, and culturally, through patient voices and education.
Read more about us here →In partnership with the Early Options medical practice in New York City, this project trains midwives and other clinicians in manual uterine aspiration and medication abortion, then mentors them as they integrate this care into their existing practices — expanding access for patients with limited resources. CHPP raised the seed funding that launched this work.
PRIVATE is a national collaborative, active since January 2023, safeguarding legally sensitive medical records from interstate sharing. Its members — healthcare providers, policy organizations and IT experts — work to protect patient and provider privacy in electronic health records. CHPP serves as PRIVATE's fiscal sponsor.
